2. Courthouse Youth Arts Laneway Mural

6. Chrissy Amphlett mural & Augmented Reality Experience– McLarty Place
Ian Lowe created this stunning mural to celebrate the life and legacy of Australian icon Chrissy Amplett. The mural is located in McLarty Place and features an augmented-reality experience created by Pillowfort Creative & Codeacious. This immersive experience can be accessed via the Geelong Arts & Culture app to gain a deeper understanding of Amphlett’s art.
7. King Billy and Chrissy Amphlett– Dennys Place
You’ll see two amazing portraits in Dennys Place: King Billy painted by Cam Scale and Chrissy Amplett painted by Glen Smith. Beautiful, striking murals capture these two large-scale figures from Australian music and indigenous history.
8. Moi Yo Miller Mural By Michael Cassar
The mural of Moi Yo Miller was painted by Michael Cassar at the intersection of James Street & Minns Lane. This tribute pays homage to the Geelong magician’s assistant who was known for her beauty and stage performance in the 1930s. Her captivating image is a tribute to a forgotten Australian figure. Baby Guerillas Family Virtual Reality Mural was commissioned by the City of Greater Geelong Public Art Project. It is located at Shorts Place on the corner of West Lt Malop Street.
